Police body camera footage from a late-night traffic stop has gone viral, showing the dramatic and non-compliant arrest of 21-year-old Alexis Harper after she was charged with her second count of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in just 28 days.
The footage, which has garnered millions of views online under the title provided, shows an officer initiating a traffic stop after observing Harper’s vehicle swerving erratically across two lanes. Once pulled over, the encounter quickly deteriorated. When confronted with the evidence and asked to perform a sobriety test, Harper allegedly began a highly emotional performance.
According to the official report, Harper launched into a tearful, entitled tirade, alternating between screaming about her “ruined life” and attempting to argue with officers by claiming she had only consumed “one single glass of wine.” The footage captured Harper repeatedly demanding to speak to a supervisor and insisting she should be let go because of the devastating consequences the repeat arrest would have on her future.
