TikToker Emilie Kiser has spoken out about how her family feel towards her husband, Brady Kiser, after their young son Trigg sadly died after falling into the family’s pool earlier this year.
Trigg was just three years old when he fell into the pool on the Kiser’s property in May, prompting emergency responders to be called to the home.
They administered CPR on the toddler, and he was taken to hospital, but sadly passed away a few days later.
Brady had been at the house with the couple’s two children when the incident took place, and while authorities initially submitted a criminal charge recommendation against the father, no charges were ever filed.
Emilie has previously taken ‘full accountability‘ herself for the loss, telling her followers: “I know I should have done more to protect him.”
She continued: “One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s something I will never overlook again. I hope amidst this pain, Trigg’s story will help prevent other children and families from suffering the same loss.”
As the couple navigated their first Christmas without Trigg this year, Emilie explained that her family had all come together in California for the holiday.
A video shared on TikTok showed the relatives spending the day together, including grabbing coffee, getting breakfast, going shopping and buying doughnuts.
In response to the clip, one viewer asked: “How does your family deal with your husband? Are they polite? Are they angry? What are their feelings? They probably don’t even show their feelings.”
Emilie responded to assure that her ‘entire family’ loves Brady ‘so much’.
She continued: “If anything their unwavering love for him and Trigg, is something that has helped us so much to come together as a family.”
Following Trigg’s death, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office confirmed there was ‘no likelihood of conviction’ against Brady, and a few weeks later his attorney thanked officials for having conducted a thorough investigation, referring to the case as ‘a tragic accident’.
Emilie’s video showed her family all getting along in the aftermath of their heartbreaking loss, and in the caption alongside the video, she wrote: “Love family time so much.”
The TikToker largely keeps Brady out of her posts, though she did share some footage of him earlier this month.
Fans have shown their support for the couple in Emilie’s comments section, with one writing: “Love you and your family with my entire heart.”
The creator responded: “We love you.”
