It started as a routine traffic stop on a quiet stretch of highway just outside of Jackson, Tennessee. The officer’s dash cam captured it all — the flashing lights, the slow roll to a stop, and the calm approach to the driver’s side window.
At first, everything seemed normal. The driver, a young woman in her 20s, appeared nervous but cooperative. She told the officer she was just “trying to get home to Memphis.” But when he asked for her license and registration, her hands began to shake.
Something wasn’t right.
The officer returned to his cruiser to run her information — and that’s when she made her move.
Without warning, the car lurched forward. Tires screeched. The officer jumped back as her sedan sped away, kicking up a cloud of dust. The radio came alive with his voice:

She was booked into the county jail, facing multiple counts of felony evasion, possession, and reckless endangerment.
