Happy Birthday!

It was a bright and sunny morning in the cheerful town of Sunflower Valley. Birds were singing, flowers were dancing in the breeze, and somewhere in a cozy blue house at the end of Maple Street… a little girl named Lila woke up with a big smile on her face.

“Today’s the day!” she shouted, jumping out of bed so fast that her teddy bear fell on the floor. “It’s my birthday!”

Lila ran downstairs, her pajamas still rumpled, her hair sticking up like a fuzzy cloud.
But when she got to the kitchen, the lights were off. No balloons. No cake. No decorations.

“Mom? Dad?” she called, tilting her head.

Silence.

Just as she began to pout, a little note caught her eye on the fridge. It said:
🎈 “Good morning, Birthday Star! Follow the rainbow clues to find your surprise!” 🌈

Her eyes sparkled. “A treasure hunt!”

She raced to the backyard, where she found the first clue tied to a red balloon:
💌 “Where the flowers bloom, you’ll find your next clue soon!”

She ran to the garden and found her puppy, Max, wearing a birthday hat and holding the next clue in his mouth!

The clues led her through the house — to her toy box, under her pillow, even inside the fridge (where she found a cupcake waiting for her). Each note was signed with a little drawing of a star.

Finally, the last clue said:
“Close your eyes and count to three. Then open them — and you’ll see!”

Lila squeezed her eyes shut. “One… two… THREE!”

When she opened them — SURPRISE! 🎉

Her mom, dad, and all her friends jumped out from behind the couch with balloons, confetti, and a giant pink cake covered in sprinkles.

Everyone sang, “🎵 Happy Birthday to you! 🎵” while Lila’s face lit up brighter than the candles.

She made a wish, blew them out, and whispered, “This is the best birthday ever.”

As the day went on, they played games, opened gifts, and laughed until the sun began to set.

And when the stars twinkled in the night sky, Lila looked up and smiled.
“I know why you called me your Little Star,” she said to her parents.
Her dad winked. “Because you make our whole world shine.”
