ICE Agent ARRESTED for DUI — Shocking Turn of Events

What was supposed to be a quiet Friday night ended in flashing lights, handcuffs, and disbelief.

According to authorities, a veteran ICE agent — whose name has not yet been released pending investigation — was arrested for driving under the influence after being spotted swerving through traffic late Friday night.

Witnesses reported seeing the government-issued SUV drifting between lanes, nearly clipping another vehicle before coming to a sudden stop at a red light. When local officers pulled the driver over, they were shocked to discover a federal agent behind the wheel.

Bodycam footage shows the moment officers approached the car — the agent appeared confused, glassy-eyed, and smelled strongly of alcohol. When asked if he had been drinking, he allegedly replied,

“I’m fine, I’m an officer too… I can handle it.”

But field sobriety tests told a different story. The ICE agent stumbled, slurred his words, and reportedly blew twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer test.

After refusing to hand over his service weapon voluntarily, officers were forced to disarm and arrest him on the spot. He was booked into the county jail on charges of DUI, reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

The Department of Homeland Security has since confirmed the arrest, issuing a brief statement:

“We hold all of our officers to the highest standard. This incident is under internal review, and disciplinary actions will follow pending the outcome of the investigation.”

The irony of the situation hasn’t been lost on the public — an officer sworn to uphold the law now facing the consequences of breaking it.

As one bystander told reporters,

“It’s shocking. You don’t expect someone who enforces federal law to end up in cuffs for DUI.”

The incident has since gone viral online, sparking heated debates about accountability within law enforcement and the dangers of drinking and driving, no matter who you are.

For now, the disgraced ICE agent has been placed on administrative leave, his badge suspended — a sobering reminder that no one is above the law.
