Woman who had sex with her husband every single day for a year reveals impact it had on her body and relationship

A woman has shared the impact of having sex with her husband every day for a year and why she did it.

While they are very rewarding, marriage and long term relationships can face a lot of challenges.

new relationship can see people becoming infatuated with their new partner, seemingly tearing each others’ clothes off at every opportunity.

But as routine and domesticity set in, this can sometimes give way to slightly drier spells than those initial months, though not always, of course, as everyone is different.

One woman shared that she had decided to have sex every single day for a year, and revealed the impact that this has had on her.

However, the reasons she gave for the year-long marathon might surprise you.

Brittany Gibbons spoke to Cosmopolitan to open up about the decision, first of all answering the most common question she gets asked – no, it’s not with a different person every day, it was with her husband.

To be clear, she explained that, yes, this was literally every day.

Explaining why she had done it, she revealed that this was not to save her marriage, but for herself.

And the result was that she felt liberated and more confident in herself, as well as worrying more about making sex pleasurable rather than worrying about certain parts of her anatomy.

So, how did things progress for her?

“Six months in, I took off the cami I’d hidden my body inside of, not caring that my boobs plopped off into my armpits,” she said.

Explaining how things got better, she said: “For the first time, I was more concerned with every part of sex that felt good than finding a flattering angle to hide my stomach or back fat.

“My body was being enjoyed by the both of us, equally.”

So that’s six months of getting down every day, but what about after a full year?

Well, it seems that confidence had just continued to improve.

“A year in, I stopped wearing clothes entirely,” she said. “At least, I assume that is what my kids would say.”

The day to day impact was in things that might seem small, but are more meaningful than they might appear.

“I stopped that primal run from the shower and now lazily walked to the closet naked,” she shared.

Even around the house there was more sense of affection and openness.

“I made school lunches in my underwear, and didn’t reflexively pull away when Andy came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist,” she said.

“My relationship with my husband, and my body, had changed in amazing ways.”
